1. Contact us to request your approval packet and just fill in the information on all documents, sign the authorization form, fill in the lot information, and the other attached items, then fax, mail, or drop by to M. L. Atkins at WT Builders at 6533 Clinton Highway.
2. Once we receive your information, we will obtain a copy of your credit report from the credit bureau. After a close examination, we will determine if there are any discrepancies in your report and we will
discuss these with you.
IMPORTANT: If you have had any credit problems in the past, please write a letter of explanation and detail the events leading to the problem and enclose this letter with your credit application. We find
that this simple procedure helps greatly in getting your loan approved.
3. Once we have the application and lot information complete, along with the credit authorization, we will submit it to the lender. In most cases, we will try to have an answer for you in three to four days.
Some situations may take longer.
4. After the loan is approved, we will meet with you on the property to get an idea where the new home will be built. At that time, we will order your land survey. This will take about a week to complete. Once
we receive the survey, we will order your drain field layout from the Health Department. This will also take about a week. After we receive your drain field layout, we will complete our paper work and apply for your building
permit. As soon as we receive your building permit, we will schedule your home for construction. Once construction begins, we should have your new home complete in six to eight weeks.
